Have you ever noticed that your smile makes me nervous? I'm away from the oars but the boat keeps moving. Yeah, I'm away from the oars but the boat keeps moving. Yeah, cause you keep rowing. You really keep me going. You really keep me going.

Lion 02:44
I'm not what you think I am. I am a Lion lulling everyone to sleep with my roar. So soft and so sweet inside my body. A collection of fragmented memories that everyone chooses to ignore. As I wander still I wonder how much pressure you are under trying to be ordinary. As I throw my television out the window on your car will you still call me family? It's a lot to take in. I'm not afraid only a little nervous about the way life passes by. Working for the rest of your life trying to make ends meet, but its a beautiful night. Do you feel like dancing with me? We can listen to Hanson on the radio with Charles Manson. Oh no? I didn't think so.

I'm so tired of the way back when. Comes in clearer than my last vision, but it's cool. Most my memories aint even true, but then there's you. Yeah, there's you. Feeling dope sick on the 405. Chasing dragons just to feel alive, but it's cool. Most my memories aint even true, but then there's you. Yeah, there's you. Oh, I don't want to be alone just a bag of buried bone in a mound of dirt that's nowhere. And you, you don't want to know the truth. How all I think about is you. You're the only thing that's somewhere. Out the window in the nick of time. Broke my ankle and adjust my spine, but it's cool. Most my memories aint even true, but then there's you. Yeah, there's you. Oh, I don't want to be alone just a bag of buried bone in a mound of dirt that's nowhere. And you, you don't want to know the truth. How all I think about is you. You're the only thing that's somewhere.

The truth is out there someone said but that guys probably fucking dead. When you're sitting in the Lyft on your way to getting lit and a lifetime of regret comes and knocks you on the head. And on that search for so much more leaning out of the fifth floor. When you're finding every star but thats not quite who you are your like a bug caught in a jar or a cabbie in his car. Been down every single road but never chose which way to go, oh man I wish that I was wrong. Oh, on and on and on you can hear my raspy throat until I fall to the depths of hell. Hey, whats that smell? I think it's you. And man, I'm down as long as your down, down here too.

I make tequila with my bare hands but I can't remember what I just said. I really wanna be there for ya every step of the way, but I can't be what I'm not, and I'm really not ok. So go home and tell your boyfriend you love him. I go to hospitals to catch a break. That ativans real good, window in my face. I really wanna be there for ya every step of the way, but I can't be what I'm not and I'm really not ok. So go home and tell your boyfriend you love him.

I'm trying to understand what makes a boy a man? Is it courage? Is it will? Or an empty space to fill? Or a big ego to kill while you're running up the bill at another shitty dive? The only place you feel alive. I just want to feel alive on the inside. I'm trying to understand who I really am. Who are you? Who am I? Why do we always have to die? Why do we always have to die? When we never really die.

You’re a long cigarette lit by older than old aunt Loraine in the kitchen when she fell asleep smoking with soup on the stove and it’s burning down the whole apartment. I can’t find anything left worth a damn I can save. Now you’re on the couch asking me to sit down so I do. Competition, that shit never fit me but damn did it look good on mannequins striking a pose. I must be dead if I’m seen out in these kind of shoes. Wait, where are we now? Placing bets on the following week. Will we make it? Cause my dog in this fight is so slow and I’m not really having fun. Can we go home? A house that’s on fire is better than being alone.
